What that means is that defenseman Jeff Gilbert and forwards Brett Hopfe and Shaun Norrie, all rookies, were cut this morning.

As you may have noticed, that is 20 players, but the team placed Hand on the 30-day injured reserve effective yesterday, so he does not count toward the 19-man limit.

Obviously, Bes is player/assistant coach and Dube is the team captain. Rivet and Russell will serve as assistant captains
