The CHL just sent out this press release (which is duplicated on the PHPA site) to update the bargaining situation.
Here is part of what it says:
Several of the key issues agreed upon include:
-a no strike/no lockout clause effective through the end of the CHL Playoffs
-an agreement on the weekly salary cap
-an agreement on the minimum salary
-an agreement on the daily per diem
They didn't give any actual numbers yet, so I guess we'll see if those get released. But at least we know there will not be any more strikes.
Meanwhile, Brian Sandalow solved the Bees' goalie riddle with a bit of help from an unidentified CHL source. Rio later confirmed the signing, former Odessa Jackalopes netminder and three-time All-Star Mike Gorman.

Mike Gorman is in at RGV, wow. They already have a decent goalie in Boucher. It looks like the south will rise. RGV is looking good and it looks like the entire southern division will be strong.
