Well, I guess the Bucks decided beating the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees at Dodge Arena is something they're not quite ready to do, as they fell 6-3 tonight.
That leaves the Bucks at 3-5-3 in their last 11 games, and they've lost seven straight on the road.
As much as I'm sure Coach Ruskowski was glad to have one less person to talk to after the fact, I wish I could have been there to hear what he had to say.
And, of course, the game I miss due to tire misfortune had to be the one involving the Bucks in which a goaltender (Wylie Rogers) assisted on a goal. Texas Brahmas goalie David Cacciola also had one before getting pulled from the Brahmas' 5-4 win over the Tulsa Oilers tonight.
So, on top of his team losing tonight, Ruskowski had to see the Oilers give the Brahmas more trouble than the Bucks did on Saturday. This time, Grant Jacobsen had a hat trick to seal the deal for the Brahmas, who are now four points ahead of the Bucks in first place.
With their win tonight, the Killer Bees jumped back into third in the division ahead of the Corpus Christi IceRays.
The Southeast is by far the closest division in the league, and tonight didn't change that.
Sorry for the lack of links, but I'm doing this on my Blackberry. I'll fix everything and post Ruskowski's thoughts on tonight and yesterday's events after practice tomorrow.
