The Bucks have yet to announce Jeff Bes' injury status, to the public or to me, so I decided to check the Pointstreak transactions page as soon as I got internet reception.
Sure enough, beneath all the trades of the past couple days, it shows that the team has placed Bes on the 14-day injured reserve retroactive to Monday.
No wonder Coach Ruskowski was in such a rush to bring in a scorer.
I guess after 15 months covering this team, it's finally time for me to see what it can do without Bes for more than a game or two.
UPDATE: It is indeed official, as the team sent out an announcement not long after I started this post.
