The Texas Brahmas needed a shootout to beat the Corpus Christi IceRays tonight, but they came out on top to set up a first-place showdown tomorrow night at the LEC.

By grabbing a point, the IceRays moved into a tie with the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees for third place in the division. The Killer Bees saw their recent woes continue with a 5-4 loss to the Amarillo Gorillas.

Out of the division, former Buck Matt Summers had a goal and three assists for the Mississippi RiverKings in their 6-2 win over the Oklahoma City Blazers. That was a huge matchup for the 'Kings; congrats to Matt for stepping up and playing a great game. It's nice to see him doing well.
