A Minor Complaint...

Between pulling and formatting wire photos and stories, editing other stories, writing cutlines and taking a bajillion high school basketball and soccer calls tonight, I was able to watch online as the Penguins beat the Flyers 4-2.

Obviously, the Pens were in desperate need of a win, and these games are always fun to watch, regardless of the situation. Tonight was no exception, as the Penguins put on a beautiful show and hopefully taught themselves a few things about what they need to do to succeed heading into tomorrow's highly touted matchup with the Capitals.

My one complaint (other than the freakin' highlighters the Flyers were wearing) was this:

I'm not sure if it's more ridiculous that:

A. That happened.
B. The broadcasters 100 percent blamed Crosby for it (Yes, I know he was playing out of position for the neutral-zone system they were trying tonight, but when do they teach goalies to pass to their opponents' sticks while their nets are wide open)?
C. The Flyers got two assists on the goal.

Sorry; I just had to vent. But I will try to forget that I ever saw that occur and hope that tomorrow's game is just as good of a show (and works around the CHL All-Star Game intermission-wise).

Tonight's NHL Scores: Rangers 2, Islanders 1; Oilers 5, Capitals 2; Penguins 4, Flyers 2; Blue Jackets 4, Avalanche 3; Bruins 3, Canadiens 1; Predators 2, Maple Leafs 0; Senators 5, Hurricanes 1; Wild 6, Coyotes 3; Flames 3, Blues 1; Devils 5, Canucks 3; Sharks 7, Lightning 1.
