Klaren Waived

The Bucks have waived defenseman Nick Klaren to make room for forward Peter-James Corsi on the active roster.

I had mentioned a few times that someone was likely to be sent home to keep the roster at 18, and though Coach Ruskowski said yesterday he wasn't sure whether he'd do that or who he'd send home if he did, Klaren seemed like the obvious choice.

Klaren was the odd man out, a natural defenseman who got stuck playing at forward because there were six other d-men Ruskowski thought were better suited to play at his blue line, and he had two secondary assists in the first four games while posting a negative plus/minus rating in all but one.

Maybe if he could have gotten a spot on the defense, things would have worked out differently, but Klaren is no longer a Buck.

I'll post more about this decision and plenty of other stuff later (Okay, tomorrow).

That's wrong, he shouldn't have been released, he is not the obvious choice because he still is good for the team. The guy helps the younger teammates keep grounded, he's like a support system for them, the Bucks have made a mistatke.

Man coach should have waived Robin Richards. That guy is a waste of locker room, bench, and money waste. That guy doesnt even know how to fight, the two or three fights i have seen him. All he does is hug other players, come on for a guy that is 6'4 he should be knocking down people left and right. He doesnt even hit. I think they should get rid of him. PERIOD.

No it wasn't a mistake... Like coach said there were better Defensemen already... 6 D-Line who played better than Klaren, if one of the D-Men were struggling then maybe coach would of released one of them and moved Klaren to "D" but he didn't show it.
