The Bucks announced the addition of three players to their training camp roster today and released the schedule for camp, which begins on Monday.
Forwards Lance Monych and Ethan Schwabe and defenseman Nick Williams were the final three players added to the camp lineup.
Monych played in Laredo once before, scoring four goals in three games in 2005, and Coach Ruskowski is excited to have him back. Schwabe has played in the East Coast Hockey League and spent the past two seasons in Europe, and Williams is a rookie.
I wrote a story for tomorrow's Times with quotes from Ruskowski on all three players and his camp expectations. He's obviously not thrilled to not have ice on Tuesday due to the Pit Bull concert at the LEC, but all the guys are already in town to start getting into shape.
The story will also feature mugs of each player, and let me tell you, finding one for a guy with a name as generic as "Nick Williams" (I know two personally!) who wasn't photographed for the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association Web site or several others was quite a bit of work.
Meanwhile, the Bucks' head shots were taken today, followed by the first team meeting, and other preseason activities like equipment moving will take place the rest of the weekend.
I'll post my story about all this stuff on here tomorrow.
