Updates

Sorry for the delay in posting all of this, but I had the weekend off and have been having some internet issues at home.

First things first, it is being reported that goaltender Dustin Traylen, who spent last season with the Bucks, has signed with the Corpus Christi IceRays for their 2008-09 campaign. The team has yet to officially confirm this signing online or add Traylen to its roster, but IceRays head coach Sylvain Cloutier confirmed it personally on Thursday.

So, now the obvious question is (Besides why did Traylen say he wanted to go to Europe then end up about 150 miles away?) is do the Bucks get anything from the IceRays in exchange for Traylen's rights?

I tried calling head coach/general manager Terry Ruskowski and did not get a response, so I am waiting to hear back from him.

Meanwhile, due to everything else going on this weekend, we decided to hold of on my offseason recap story with quotes from Bucks majority owner Glenn Hart. It will run in tomorrow's paper.

And, very belatedly, here is my story about the Justin Saulnier and Jason Dixon signings from Saturday's Times.
