I have been meaning to mention some Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees' signings from the other day, so I guess now is as good a time as any.
On Tuesday, the Bees announced the signings of forwards Brandon Hammermeister (nice name), Shawn Houde and Daryl Moore. All three will be in their first CHL seasons.
Meanwhile, former Bucks forward Jeff Genovy has inked with the Odessa Jackalopes for the upcoming season.

In other news, former Colorado Eagles defenseman Les Borsheim made his first public appearance following his motorcycle accident earlier this summer at a charity golf event in his honor last week. Adam Dunivan has the story on that.
