Story and Some Upcoming Events

Here is my story about the Ryan James Hand signing from today's Times.

As you all know, Bucks training camp will begin on Monday, Oct. 6, and the regular season will start 11 days later with a game against the Rocky Mountain Rage on Friday, Oct. 17.

What we don't know is when the Bucks will play their pre-season games, but we should find that out on Monday.

I've been told the Bucks' pre-season schedule will consist of three games, two of which will be played against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. But I guess we'll see for sure when the schedule is released.

In other news, the Bucks Booster Club will be holding its second fund raiser, a Meet & Greet Bowling Tournament, on Sunday, Oct. 19.

The entry fee for the tournament is $150 per team. Each team will be five bowlers and one hockey player.

Entry fee per pays for three games (9-no tap) and shoes for each player, plus one large pizza and one pitcher of soft drinks.

There will be trophies awarded for the top three teams, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

Also, just a reminder, the Bucks will host their first "Night Out" at the LEC on Thursday from 5-9 p.m.
