Here is my story about the Matt Summers re-signing from today's Times.
Matt is one of the few people in the world who could say he had a "fire in his belly" and have me actually believe him. He and Alex Penner were the only two players who came out of the locker room following the loss to Arizona in Game 7 of the Southern Conference finals, and he was truly devastated.
Coach Ruskowski had said earlier this season that only eight players from last season would be coming back, but what that meant was he was interested in returning eight. Summers is one, and there are five easy guesses if Serge Dube chooses not to retire...but only time will tell if the number will even get as high as eight.
