The Bucks announced two things today: their preseason schedule and the fact that Dan Spence will attend the Calgary Flames' prospects camp.
They'll play two preseason games, one against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees at the LEC on Friday, Oct. 9, and one against the Corpus Christi IceRays at the American Bank Center in Corpus on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Final cuts are expected to be made on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Spence, whose signing was announced last week, will attend the Flames' camp, which began with fitness testing today and ends on Friday.
I'll have a story in tomorrow's Times with Ruskowski's thoughts on these two announcements and Darryl Smith's performance so far at the Traverse City Prospects Tournament. I'll try to post some more info later, but I have two football stories to write and volleyball calls to take later, so no guarantees.
