The Bucks announced two signings earlier today, adding forwards Robin Richards and Peter-James Corsi to their training camp lineup.
These are two very different players, as Richards is an enforcer and Corsi is a playmaking center, but Coach Ruskowski thinks both can be a big asset for the Bucks this season.
When asked if signing an established pro enforcer lessened the chances of rookies with that type of mentality making the team, he said no and repeatedly stated that everyone coming to camp other than the four returning guys has an equal chance of making or not making the team.
The Bucks' training camp lineup is now up to 27 players with a few more sure to come.
Two of those players, Josef Fojtik and Maxime Lincourt, were released by the Houston Aeros today. They will arrive in Laredo tomorrow, and Ruskowski moved on to San Antonio Rampage camp upon their release.
When I spoke to him today, Ruskowski said he's just trying to find any players who might not have any plans beyond AHL camps if they expect to make it then get cut. We'll see if he's able to find anyone in San Antonio.
