Game Day No. 43

The Bucks will host the Corpus Christi IceRays tonight in a rematch of the IceRays' 6-3 win last Saturday at the LEC. It is the ninth of 13 meetings between these teams this season, the second of three straight games against the IceRays for the Bucks, the first half of a home-and-home doubleheader, the first of three games for the Bucks this weekend, etc...

Since their win here on Saturday, the IceRays fell 3-2 to the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees in what head coach Sylvain Cloutier told me on Saturday was his team's biggest game of the season. Couple that with the fact that the IceRays are a little bit upset that Brent Cullaton came back to Laredo instead of heading over to Corpus Christi, and you might see some high emotions on the ice tonight.

If we're all being honest here, I have to admit that the events of recent days had a negative effect on my desire to blog, so you can check out more about tonight in my preview, Bryan Benway's preview, the Caller-Times' Gameday, and the Pointstreak pre-game notes.

Last Night's CHL Score: Sundogs 4, Gorillas 3.

Last Night's NHL Scores: Bruins 3, Flyers 1; Red Wings 5, Coyotes 4; Penguins 4, Lightning 3 (OT); Sabres 5, Maple Leafs 0; Wild 3, Ducks 0.
