Sorry for the lack of posts today and yesterday; today was pretty hectic, and yesterday I decided to take a real day off for once...which meant I got to watch this game. Awesome.
Anyway, there's supposedly going to be some news tomorrow, so I will probably have something on that. I guess we'll have to wait and see if it has anything to do with this.
Regardless, I'll be going to practice, then coming into the office to write a much-needed update.
For now, I'm just going to share the scores that I missed yesterday, plus the ones from tonight.
Tuesday's CHL Scores: New Mexico Scorpions 5, Arizona Sundogs 2; Colorado Eagles 7, Tulsa Oilers 3.
Tonight's CHL Score: Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs 4, Mississippi RiverKings 3. That had to be a rough loss for the RiverKings, who gave up the winning goal with just 36 seconds left in regulation. Matt Summers had an assist in the game, meaning he has at least a point in each of the four he's played with Mississippi so far and a six-game point streak overall.
Tuesday's NHL Scores: Philadelphia Flyers 3, New York Islanders 1; Montreal Canadiens 4, Ottawa Senators 0; Pittsburgh Penguins 7, Detroit Red Wings 6 (OT...and awesome); Calgary Flames 4, Toronto Maple Leafs 3; Los Angeles Kings 3, Dallas Stars 2 (SO); Nashville Predators 4, San Jose Sharks 3 (OT).
Tonight's NHL Scores: Phoenix Coyotes 5, Columbus Blue Jackets 2; Buffalo Sabres 4, St. Louis Blues 3; New York Rangers 5, New Jersey Devils 2; Washington Capitals 5, Carolina Hurricanes 1; Florida Panthers 4, Tampa Bay Lightning 0; Boston Bruins 2, Chicago Blackhawks 1 (SO); Colorado Avalanche 2, Vancouver Canucks 1 (SO).
