Monych Ships Off to Europe

As many of you already know thanks to the CHL Forums, forward Lance Monych has walked out on the Bucks to go play in Europe.

This obviously marks the second time a player has left the Bucks by his own choice this season, and, just like Cody Hamilton before him, Monych has been placed on suspension by the Bucks.

The team did not want this announced until the league approved the suspension, which only prevents Monych from playing for CHL teams and is probably why he looked for a place to play in another country before telling anyone he wanted out. Unless, of course, he asked for a trade first.

I'll ask Coach Ruskowski about that and the situation this move creates after practice, which I am arriving at the LEC for now. I'll also try to find out where exactly Monych will be playing and for what team.

Wonder if he's going back to the Tilburg Trappers.

Please don't waste your time trying to find out where he is going to play. I think I speak for most, if not all Bucks fans, when I say that I could care less where he ends up playing. No loyalty whatsoever! I just hope coach gets rid of anyone else who doesn't want to be part of the Bucks team/organization. This year's team has had a bunch of pansies who play as individuals and with no heart and desire. Nuff' said...

He said that he left a message with the Falcons when Levasseur was selected to the All-Star team asking if he would be coming back in time but has yet to get the response. He also said he knows that bugging people in that situation will get you nowhere, so he's just waiting to hear back from them. Levasseur hasn't started for the Falcons since they got Devan Dubnyk back. Keep in mind the fact that Levasseur is still technically the property of the Anaheim Ducks organization, so if they want him to be playing, they could choose to send him back to the Bucks regardless of what the Falcons want.
