Guess it didn't take until tomorrow after all, because the Pointstreak transactions page shows that the Bucks have signed forward Todd Griffith.
Coach Ruskowski mentioned to me that Griffith, who was a member of the Bucks' Cup-winning team for the posteason in 2006, was looking for a place to play and seemed like a good fit considering the situation.
He and defenseman Mike Looby were both playoff additions to that team who helped the Bucks win their second title.
Griffith had been playing in the UK for the Newcastle Vipers earlier this season and had one goal and one assist in eight games. You can see his profile for the EIHL here.
Since his signing already appears to be official, we can expect to see him on the ice when the Bucks host the Colorado Eagles tonight.
He is not yet listed on the lineup in the pre-game notes, but I'm told he will wear No. 21.
Considering the results on a YouTube search for him, I guess Griffith's a bit of a fighter though he hasn't gone over 100 penalty minutes since juniors.
