The Bucks just announced that they have signed winger Curtis Billsten, placing Lance Monych on the IR to make room for him on the active roster.
Billsten is a big, physical yet talented guy who put up pretty good numbers in his rookie season last year.
He has been in Laredo for over a week but hasn't been able to suit up for the team due to a delay in immigration paperwork that wasn't helped by the Thanksgiving holiday, and everything was finally made official today.
You can expect to see Billsten in the lineup for tomorrow night's game at the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
Monych suffered a lower-body injury in Friday's 4-2 win over the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and hasn't played since but isn't expected to miss any more time than his 14-day IR stint requires.
