Bucks Ink Tebbs

The Bucks just announced that they have signed goaltender Kris Tebbs and sent Mark Sibbald back down the Southern Professional Hockey League.

When I talked to Coach Ruskowski on Thursday, he mentioned that Sibbald had asked to return to his team in the SPHL, so signing Tebbs was in part a reaction to that.

He wasn't 100 percent sure that Tebbs would show up in time for tonight's game, so nothing was official until they announced it.

I imagine Tebbs will start tonight, considering how Kyle Gajewski has fared in his past few games, so he should be taking on his former team (the Corpus Christi IceRays) in his first game with his new one.

Jean-Philippe Levasseur is still up the AHL, and if that lasts a lot longer, it might not be far-fetched to anticipate another goalie move in the coming weeks.

I know Tebbs was someone whose name had come up among fans as a possible option earlier in the season, so what does everyone think about this move? And what about the whole Sibbald situation? He probably would have been more willing to stay if he was getting more playing time, so do you think that might have been a good idea?

Be back in a bit with the game day post.

I think coach should have started Sibbald in one of the games. He did look sharp when he played in the jungle. Tebbs i am hoping he can play the way he is capable of playing. When is jp coming back? and ideal?

It's good that we brought Tebbs, he can actually be a good backup to Levasseur something that Gajewski was not.
