As you may have noticed on the Pointstreak transactions page, forward Maxime Lincourt has been taken off the injured reserve and Neil Trimm has replaced him there, going on the 14-day IR.
Lincourt originally suffered an upper-body injury on Dec. 27, then came back on Jan. 29 and played 10 games before re-aggravating the injury and being placed back on the shelf.
He has been skating with the team the past couple weeks and in full-contact practice the past couple days, so he is expected to be ready to go for tomorrow's game against the Corpus Christi IceRays.
Trimm, who suffered a lower-body injury in the Bucks' 5-2 loss to the Texas Brahmas on Friday, is going on the IR for the third time this season. All three have been with lower-body ailments. There is no immediate timetable for his return.
Mike Looby was also injured in Friday's game, but his injury was an upper-body one. He is day-to-day and is being evaluated at some point today to see if he'll be available tomorrow.
Looby was held out of practice today, as was goaltender Pier-Olivier Pelletier, who is battling a cold. Matt Brayfield suited up to fill the second net during practice, and Kevin Desfosses will likely get the start tomorrow night to give Pelletier more time to rest.
Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel was wearing a no-contact yellow jersey today after being banged up a bit over the weekend, but he is expected to play tomorrow.
Obviously other guys are dealing with a little wear and tear, as well, but yesterday's practice was optional, giving everyone a chance to rest up if they needed it.
Forward Mark O'Leary was not in the stands today because he has begun rehabbing the lower-body injury he suffered on Jan. 29. He won't be back in the lineup soon, but if the Bucks can get a round or two into the playoffs, he might be able to get out there.
No one has given me an update on Justin Styffe, who suffered that gruesome lower-body injury on Jan. 16, but he still has not been moved to the season-ending IR.
