Bucks Announce Playoff Roster

The Bucks announced their playoff roster earlier today, making the return of former captain Brent Cullaton official and releasing Maxime Lincourt.

Cullaton's return was fairly expectable, and obviously something everyone wanted, but do you agree Lincourt was the guy who needed to go?

The roster at this point is as follows:

No. 3 Igor Agarunov (Forward/Defenseman)
No. 6 Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel (Defenseman)
No. 9 Neil Trimm (Forward)
No. 10 Brent Cullaton (Forward)
No. 11 Jeff Bes (Forward)
No. 12 Curtis Billstem (Forward)
No. 15 Evan Schwabe(Forward)
No. 18 Darryl Smith (Forward)
No. 19 Ryan Lehr (Defenseman)
No. 21 Todd Griffith (Forward)
No. 22 Paul Elliott (Defenseman)
No. 23 Eric Giosa (Forward)
No. 27 Jarred Mohr (Defenseman)
No. 28 Adam Rivet (Defenseman)
No. 33 Pier-Olivier Pelletier (Goaltender)
No. 35 Kevin Desfosses (Goaltender)
No. 39 Mike Looby (Defenseman)
No. 41 Sylvain Deschatelets (Forward)
No. 52 Robin Richards (Forward)

Mark O'Leary was moved to the season-ending IR with the roster needing to be cut, making him the fourth Bucks player to go that route this season.

Two amateur players can be added to the roster if and when Coach Ruskowski finds them.

Sorry for the delay in posting this, but I didn't have Internet access earlier in the day.

I was unable to attend practice this morning for personal reasons, but I will be there tomorrow and will post on here as soon as I leave the arena.

In the meantime, you can read Bryan Benway's blog for some info on today's practice and more on the roster situation.

The two first-round playoff series begin tonight, with the Corpus Christi IceRays hosting the Texas Brahmas and the Missouri Mavericks hosting the Mississippi RiverKings.

You can follow those games on Pointstreak or watch on CHL-TV.

Robin Richards should have been cut. But then again Linny never did much

IMO, O'leary would have been a better fit for this team. He hustles, good forechecking, and I believe has playoff experience. He's play is almost Billsten-like, who has been impressive lately. Too bad he couldn't heal on time. Lincourt is good, but for some reason not productive this season. Good luck to him. Hopefully, Richards scores some power play goals.
