The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees will be holding a press conference tomorrow to announce "a key addition to the 2008-09 playing roster."
According to Brian Sandalow, that addition will be someone familiar to the Bees, Rio fan favorite Ryan Shmyr.
Up in Odessa, the Jackalopes are now affiliated with the New York Islanders and have signed center Kory Karlander.
In other signing news, the Colorado Eagles announced that they are bringing back forwards Steve Haddon and Scott Polaski and defenseman Jason Beatty for their 2008-09 season.
