The Corpus Christi IceRays have announced their first signings for the upcoming season, re-inking four players from last year's Rayz squad.
These returnees are forward Justin Quenneville, defenseman Chris Mei, left wing Adam Powell and winger Chris Shaffer, who played the end of last season with the Youngstown Steelhounds after starting out with the Rayz.

In other news, coming out of Corpus only in its online dispersion by Greg Rajan, the new PHPA-approved veteran limit will stand at four...but goaltenders will not count toward that limit. We'll see how many teams take advantage of that.
