Here is my story about the Lizon signing in today's Times.
Head coach/general manager Terry Ruskowski sounded genuinely excited to have nabbed Lizon and said that Lizon is thrilled to be coming to Laredo, which makes enough sense.
I wanted to be able to talk to Lizon himself for my story, but coach was out of town and didn't have Lizon's number on him, so that will have to wait.
As Greg Rajan notes, all four Southeast teams have at least one marquee fighter, so this could be a pretty physical season...but hopefully no games quite this.
