Bucks Sign Eaton

Preparation for our high school football tab is in full-swing, so I'm just getting time to post that the Bucks have signed another rookie, forward Alexander Eaton.

Eaton is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound winger, and Coach Ruskowski made it pretty clear that the guy is coming in here to hit and drive to the net.

He played four seasons of junior hockey before taking the past two years off to finish up college, so we'll see at training camp if he's a little rusty.

You can read more about Ruskowski's take on Eaton and his training camp lineup in tomorrow's Times.

Another signing will be announced on Thursday, this one the second re-signing of the offseason, which means it's time for a press conference. Funny how the first signing press conference of the summer is taking place 90 minutes before our press run for the football tab...

I will leave you with one of several Eaton fight videos on YouTube, this one starting with a hard hit in the corner.

Alex Eaton, welcome to Laredo the capital of boxing. We are certainly glad to have you here. Just one suggestion throw an "upper cut" every once in awhile. Those over hand shots can sometime have no effect. Just kidding!

The season can't start fast enough. It's been a long off season and I can't wait any longer.

The season can't start quick enough for me either. You'll be a great addition to the team. Bring in the check too.
