Yet another shootout game between these teams, with this one ending 3-2 in the Bucks' favor, thanks to defenseman Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel, who scored both regulation goals and the shootout winner.
The Bucks improved to 20-15-8 (48 points) with the win, while allowing the Killer Bees to stay within three by picking up a point and improving to 19-18-7 (45 points).
The Texas Brahmas stayed ahead of the Bucks for third place, improving to 22-17-5 (49 points), but did so with a 3-2 win over the Corpus Christi IceRays that dropped the IceRays to 19-20-6 (44 points), so they were really doing the Bucks a favor.
You can read more about tonight in Bryan Benway's pro-France press release, Brian Sandalow's game blog, which details the game and the shootout scoring, and his story for The Monitor.

Hi Joy! Noticed a new face with blond highlights hanging around with the injured players upstairs during the Bucks/Bees game on Thursday. New player?
